is a straight copy of an encaustic painting. Just enlarged. I
don't like painting on a large scale, so I tend to paint small
and have ones I particularly like, like this one, enlarged when
I have them printed. The sun rays in the sky are all done with
one sweep of the iron. So I can't do a picture like this, any
bigger than double the length of the edge of my iron, and there
is a limit to iron size, or at least to the size of iron I can
lift. |
