New Hydraulic Mechanical Latching System for Hydraulic operated Tailgate.

 

Testing this one out with 14.69 tonnes of wheat 

straight off the combine, and still some space left at the back.

When used with delicate crops the top part of the body can be removed in about ten minutes,

 and in buildings where tipping height is limited, this and the short 5m body length 

enable a steeper tipping angle to be achieved,.

 

 

 

MAIN POINTS IN BOLD TYPE

 
  • 14 Tonne - 17.68 cu metres capacity - flat load  .
  • Mono body. 5.020m x 2.265m x 1.555m. - inside. 
  • Removable 0.5m body top leaves 1.055m body depth with 2.315m overall height for root harvester elevator access etc.
  • 45 deg floor to side slope for extra strength and easier cleaning.
  • Hydraulic operated Tailgate with automatic hydraulic operated mechanical lock.
  • Short body needs less tipping height in low buildings - max tipping angle 50 deg.
  • Heavy duty construction with 5mm floor and 4mm sides which overlap on the 45 deg slope giving 9mm thickness for extra strength. The 5mm section between the longditudinals gets extra strength by having  the cross frames closer spaced (two extra).
  • Built in front ladder and inside flip-up steps.
  • Twin sprung "walking tandem" axles for smoothing out rough terrain. 
  • Hydraulic Braked with 4 individual rams as on road axles - auto balance.
  • Hand brake, 2 wheel chocks, body safety prop, folding drawbar stand.
  • Twin five stage tipping rams which begin the tip in the vertical position. They are centrally located thus leave very little weight on the hinges during tipping. The hinges have fixed 50mm pins in greasable bushes. (built to last).
  •  Twin tailgate rams. "Two wire" hoses. connector probe stowage.
  • 12v electrics with rear lights grill protected. Side, front and tail reflectors. Side, front and tail repeater lights . Illuminated stainless steel clip-in number plate holder. plug stowage.
  • Tyres - Flotation Trelleborg 560/45 x 22.5 wheels, 40kph rated.
  • Toolbox. - Only accessable with the trailer empty and raised , therefore secure, in which are:- Operators manual, tyre pressure guage, wheel spanner, hub spanner, spare ram seals, two spare hydraulic pipes. (all the brake and lift ram pipes near the axles are, by design, the same size).
  • Length - 6.53m. Width - 2.550m. Height - 2.815m.   Height without removable body top – 2.315m.
