to the Annan Old Parish Church web site.
There are a few introductory details on this page that will hopefully
whet your appetite. Should you wish to delve further into our history
and current situation there are links to other pages and sites in most
of the titles.
If you decide to read our Parish Profile you will see
that we are in deferred linkage with Dornock Church. Please enjoy your

Where
we are
|
In
the South Western part of Scotland in Dumfries and Galloway, located on
Annan Church Street.

Worship and other activities
|
Regular
worship takes place on Sundays between 11.00 am and 12.00 noon however
this will change from 6th May 2007 to 11.15 am.
Evening services are held between September and May from 6.30 to 7.30
pm.
Other
services are held to celebrate various events throughout the year.
Many other
activities take place at different times during the week.

Adult
Education
|
Adult bible study
takes place at various times and the Alpha course material is also used
to assist with adult education. Details of theses activities can be
obtained from the minister at the above email address.

The
Building
|
Construction
of the present building took place in 1789, several notable features
are - Red Sandstone construction, excellent stained glass windows, a
Provost box in the balcony area and a statue of Edward Irving.

|
1792
- 1834. - Born in Annan, Ordained in Annan Old Parish Church and
trialed and deposed by Annan Presbytery.
