Thursday Oct 21st 2004 - Well this is the first update to the site since March. Even by my standards that really is something.....seven months !!! And still the major overhaul and general update to the whole sad, sorry and tired look of the site hasn't happened. Never enough hours in the day...blah, blah, blah. But there is actually quite a few new bits and bobs in the galleries for those who perhaps come back to check (I thank you both). Especially in the digital galleries 4 and 5. Still lots of plans for this site so if I can get with the flow who knows.

It seems to be Mid season so I apolagise now for oversaturation. There is currently a profile on me and a nicely put together gallery as featured artist on the amazing ATTACK FANZINE (Sweden) site. Check out the profiles and stunning work of the other featured artists while you're there, not to mention all the great columns, reviews, interviews and all manner of punk rock goodness. I'm also featured in the new addition (no 46) of PROFANE EXISTENCE with an interview and lots of piccies of my scribblings. I did the cover for the issue (which should be hitting the streets any day). To say I'm chuffed to have had the opportunity to do that illustration is understatement of the century. There really is no escape from this Midness...wherever you turn, I'm there ;oP

The BAIT album is now out and about although the Bait page on this site is hideously out of date (something else for the 'to do' list then). But check out our full site - www.the baitvoid.com for any up to date happenings. After a comedy of errors and much delay it was a major relief to finally get the album done and dusted, it seems to be picking up some favourable reviews although some people don't quite know what to make of it. That's a good thing.... I think. Here's what some people are saying - REVIEWS.

Progress is slow but ongoing regards several DEVIATED INSTINCT re-issues. Me and Snapa recently went down to London to oversee all the Peaceville stuff being remastered. I've still got to put all the cover together but that should be out as a budget price digipack CD by the end of the year. An album of early demo and comp tracks is also being compiled which will eventually see the light on Japans SPEEDSTATE records. And finally Wicked Witch recs (Holland) are planning to release the 1990 Peel Session and the Nailed 12" as an LP (yes, lovely vinyl). This is mostly being held up by my reluctance to get to grips with all the contracts and legal guff that the BBC require in order to get the rights to the Peel session. Again there are plans to do a full D.I website with all the info you'd ever want (and a lot you wouldn't), but like everything else this has a very sloooooow 'in progress' sticker on it. Check back here for updates to the saga.
