The 1940s Weekends have become an annual event. The
pictures below, taken from various years, give a taste of what
goes on. There are many displays of 1940s memorabilia, many people
come in 1940s dress (both uniforms and civvies), stalls sell
items from those days while various groups re-enact events from
the past.
In 2009 the event will be held over the w/e 11th
