Who can Take Part
This walk is open to anyone who would like to taker part and help raise funds. Members of organizations, companies and the general public will all be made very welcome.  If you don't have a sponsored walk form you can click on the link on the left hand side and print one

Start location
Sheepcott Park, Gatehampton Road, Goring (200 metres South of railway station)

Check-In/Check-Out
Sheepcott Park. You will be given a map and walker number

Start Times
Youth organizations, Scouting, Guiding, Girls Brigade etc. Your leaders will tell you

Independent Walkers
Schools, churches, businesses, families, members of the public etc - Please start at any time between 1-5pm

Supervision of Chi1dren
Dear parents/guardians, If possible, please try to help your Scouting, Guiding, and Girls Brigade leaders to provide the necessary child supervision. 6-11 year olds-leaders and parents. 11-16 year olds may walk unsupervised in small groups in accordance with the youth organisations rules.

Independent Walkers
From churches and schools etc-under 11 years old-parental supervision
11-16 years old-unsupervised in small groups at parents discretion

Walk Marshals
There will be about twenty, each with mobile phones

Medical
Each marshal will have a medical kit, there will also be three well equipped roving first aiders (FAAW qualified) with mobile phones and transport if necessary

Travel
To ease parking difficulties, we would like to encourage all concerned to use public transport. There is an hourly train service from Didcot and a rail bus link from Wallingford

Parking
Sheepcott park, railway station (charge £1), also a paying car park in village

Monies Collected from Scouts & Cubs
Please give all money received to your leaders accompanied by the sponsorship form.  Your leaders will then arrange for the funds and forms to be delivered to Dennis Hammond 'Scout Leader' 2nd Didcot (Methodist) Scouts.  The sponsorship forms will then be used for Prize giving purposes.
