BDR Dogs looking for homes paw
Foxy Foxy is an 18 month old White German Shepherd. She is neutered, wormed, vaccinated and Microchipped. Foxy is quite a timid young lady who is good with children and other dogs.. She loves nothing more than to be taken for a long walk or playing in the park with a ball or a rope toy. She has attended obedience classes and is well-trained to walk to heel, lie down, sit, stop, leave, drop and fetch to name just a few.
Molly

Molly is an 18 month old Boxer cross. She is Neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Molly is a very loving dog who is in need of a new family to take her in and love her back

Could you give either of these wonderful girls a new loving home? Please get in touch with Joan Taylor on (01282) 605062 if you feel that you can help any of the dogs on this page.

Henry Henry is a 2 year old male dog. He is very good with families and children aswell as with other pets including cats and dogs. He is of a good nature and temprement but may need a bit of training to beome obideant as he has lost a bit of this and wont always come back when told to as I have not had chance to spend as much time with him as I have in the past but has only become a problem recently.
Holly Holly is a small, fawn-sable 4-year-old crossbreed. She is house trained, very loving – and very lively! She would love a new home with older children, as she has never lived with young ones. She is vaccinated, neutered and flea treated.
Zak This is Zak. He's a 7-8 year old boy with a wonderfully placid temperament. He's really good with children and people, loves playing "ball" but nervous when being walked close to traffic. Looking for a home due to a change in his home circumstances.
Rags OK, so this is Rags. He’s definitely a dog only a mother could love. He’s a lucher, but not a very fine example of one. However, that doesn’t stop him dashing about if he feels like it. He is approximately 18 mths to 2 years old. He has been vaccinated, wormed, neutered and de-flea’d. I call him my ‘special needs dog’ because, poor soul, he is afraid of life. He has been with me for quite some time, although he did go out to one home but came back to me for various reasons which I will talk about below. We think his tail has been broken – twice – and he broke a toe soon after he came to us and, although it is fully heeled, occasionally gives him a limp if he does too much dashing around. He has the lurcher habit of barging other dogs when playing and some dogs find this hard to deal with. Now for his two larger problems – he cannot be left to run free in the house unsupervised because he gets very stressed, even with the company of other dogs, and tends to chew. However, he is quite happy to be caged, although obviously not for long periods – having said that, overnight he is usually fine. Which brings me to the next problem – if left too long he finds it hard to hold his bladder, so plenty of bedding is required. The stress of messing up his bed also makes him tend to chew it, so be prepared. Old bedding is best. However, if you would be prepared to let him sleep in the bedroom, I can assure you he is perfect. So, there it is, this perfectly loveable soft dog is looking for an experienced loving home. He would take time to come around to adults but he is superb with children and other dogs. He is very playful when he settles in loves nothing more than a good cuddle. If you think you could be the right family for this lovely dog, please contact: Pat on 01772-792768.

Other dogs looking for homes paw
The following dogs are displayed by BDR in an attempt to help their current owners rehome them.
As these dogs are not in the care of BDR we are unable to verify any of the comments made, and any prospective new owners should satisfy themselves as to the condition and nature of the dog.
Stoney

Stoney needs re-homing or adopting quickly to save him being put to sleep! The husband of the present owner originally got the dog from the animal shelter and he has now left home & doesn’t want him. The owner is not an animal lover and never wanted to own one in the first place. She thinks Stoney is about 10 years old. Labrador cross. He has always lived outside in the back garden of their house. Big kennel etc. He is very good with people and children and there is a dog lives next door that jumps over into the garden sometimes during summer and he is ok with that. He has been walking with another friend (who has 3 very sociable dogs) and though we had to keep him on a lead he was ok. Little bit aggressive with them but we think just excited to be out/wanting to play etc probably would have been better OFF the lead but we didn’t want to chance it. I think someone with lots of time/patience to walk and walk and walk him would have him behaving in a matter of no time. Not sure about him living in doors?? He needs bathing/cleaning/bit of pampering which I would be willing to pay for – I live in a private rented flat/have two elderly cats who would not tolerate him/and am not supposed to have pets at all in there so I can’t take him………………..
