WHAT WE BELIEVE


  • The Bible to be God's Word to mankind and we fully accept it's divine inspiration, authority and sufficiency.
  • The unity of the God Head, namely Father, Son and Holy Spirit, to whom equal honour is due.
  • The virgin birth of Jesus Christ and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
  • The death of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross was a sacrifice for our sin. He rose from the dead.
  • He ascended into Heaven and will return to earth a second time.
  • Mankind is sinful and is unable to effect his own salvation.
  • Mankind must be born again, by accepting the value of Christ's death for sin, by which he is justified before God.
  • Mankind will go to heaven after death, but only if he accepts God's salvation through Christ, but if he rejects this salvation, he will spend eternity in Hell with the lost.
  • Born again Christians should be baptised, meet together to remember the Lord and seek to lead others to Christ in accordance with New Testament pattern.

Gospel means ¨good news¨.

The Gospel Message Contained in John chapter 3 verse 16:

God so loved the world, that He gave His
Only Begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not
Perish, but have
Everlasting
Life.


God´s invitation to you.

Jesus said in Matthew Chapter 11 verse 28 and 29, ¨Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.¨

We would commend the reading of the Bible each day. The Bible is the word of God and has this to say about itself:
¨All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. ¨ 2 Timothy Chapter 3 verses 16 and 17.
¨For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.¨ Hebrews Chapter 4 verse 12.

We would suggest you read the whole Bible, but this is quite a large volume if you have never read it before. To start with perhaps read one of the Gospels in the New Testament. A copy of the John's Gospel is available for reading from the link given below.
