We keep the sheep for their wool and meat. We keep cows for their
milk and hides. We use their bones for belt ends, needles, knife handles, pins for hair
and clothing and even for ice skates! Pigs we just keep for their meat. We keep hens, of course. They give eggs as well as meat for the pot. We use their hollow bones for musical pipes. |
