It was a glorious battle. We were in pursuit of the Athenian fleet.

The Athenians put in at the Aegospotami River to gather fresh water and supplies. We surprised them while most of the sailors were ashore.

We destroyed nearly 180 ships. Our Spartan ships survived the battle in good shape.

We invaded Attica in 404. After a short battle, we forced Athens was to surrender.

We demanded the destruction of the walls around the port of Piraeus, as well as the Long Walls running from Athens to the port. We made the citizens of Athens to pull them down themselves.

Sparta is all powerful. I Sparcus am Spartan. I look forward to promotion soon.
