FELBRIDGE  LAWN  TENNIS  CLUB

At Felbridge Lawn Tennis Club we have:

3 hard surface tennis courts,

1 of which has floodlights available for use,

And a large clubhouse.

Floodlights

 

Court 1 boasts excellent, powerful Phillips lights.  The meter accepts only tokens, not cash, and you need to purchase tokens ahead of play.

Tokens cost £4.00 for 60 minutes and can be purchased from :

Both Steve and Darren live close to the courts and the lights are available for use from dusk until 10pm daily.     

 

 

Clubhouse

 

We have recently had a large club house built (shared with the local football club). In our part of the clubhouse we have a table-tennis table, tables and chairs, a kitchen, toilets, and fortunately a good central heating system for cold winter days! The clubhouse is presently open on club and match days (as well as special events), and all times to members who own a key.

Members are invited to purchase a key for anytime entrance, although there are not enough for every member. If interested in gaining access to the clubhouse please read below:

· Club house access is by key. Members are invited to apply for keys and a number have taken up this opportunity. The committee has obtained ten additional sets of keys for 2008. If you wish to have your own set, you need to email the Chairman, Darren Brown, at darrenlbrown@btinternet.com.

· There is a £25 deposit. Use of the clubhouse is restricted to members and under 18 members require adult member supervision at all times. Keys are issued on a first come first served basis.

 

 

 

Facilities

Ball Machine - (not in use at the moment)

 

A Tower ball machine is available to any adult member.  There is no charge for use other than to cover the cost of electricity.

You will have to leave with them a £20.00 cash deposit plus  £1.00 for every half hour of use for power.  You will receive the key to the hut located on Court 3.  Inside you will find the Tower Ball Machine, power cords, balls, ball basket plus manual.  Once you are finished please return all items to the hut and lock securely.  Your refund of £20.00 will be provided upon your return of the key.

It is very important that only ADULT members are in charge of the machine as it has sharp rotating blades which is why Junior members are not allowed to feed in the balls etc.
