Fen Blow Saturday 9th March 2002. The fen blows with winds of 70mph. A lorry blows over on the Ferry Bank road.

Soil hangs down the drainage ditches like snow after the blow in the fen at Brandon Creek.

26 Apr. 1923 -Married to Prince Albert.

1926 - She gave birth to her first child, the princess Elizabeth Alexandra Mary (the present Queen).

1930 - The Queen mother gave birth to her second child, the princess Margaret...

The Flower Festival started in 1992 and is held every two years.

SOUTHERY SENSATIONS

The SOUTHERY SENSATIONS are a majorette troupe established as recently as September 2001. Currently they have 27 members, 3 of which are boys. As a new troupe the Southery Sensations Majorette Troupe have not entered any competitions to date. They have concentrated on raising funds for the equipment required and gaining the experience of performing by taking part in a number of outside events. The troupe and hoping to enter their first competition next year.
