Saturday 3rd May 2.30 pm The Play Area was officially opened by the Chairman of the Parish Council, Mariln Robinson.

A E-mail from Marilyn Robinson to me: Many thanks for all your photos re play area we are very gratefull to you for putting them on the web I am sure people will appreciate it more,I have already had another village ring me and asking if i would help them create the same as us i am afraid not it was very hard work We hope you will be able to take pictures when we start the BMX track which should be end MAY will keep in touch with you about this Once again many thanks. The lady who came from one of the grants had never seen such a lovely area she told me two villages had been turned down for grants so i guess we were very lucky. regards Marilyn
10th May. A new Net Ball Net has been erected, it was paid for by the Norwich and Peterborough Building Society.
