An uplifting oil, valuable for use in depression and despondency. It also has antiseptic qualities and is good for skin care. It is also valuable for use in cystitis-blended with Lavender essential oil, it can be very effective in a warm bath.

Bergamot is contraindicated for use on the skin before exposure to the sun, as it is a photo-toxic oil.

Blends well with most other oils.
