Cedarwood has a wonderfully theraputic action on the scalp in cases of Alopecia,losses of hair for other reasons and Dandruff. It is also a good oil for the treatment of Dermatitis and Excema-suitably diluted. For skin problems, it is important to do a 24 hour skin patch test. Allergic reactions and sensitivity must be tested for to reduce the risk of making the problem worse.

Cedarwood oil has antiseptic and anti-bacterial properties which make it so suitable for the healing of infected conditions of skin and scalp. Tea Tree oil blended with Cedarwood will enhance these qualities in a synergetic way.

Cedarwood oil is contraindicated for children and during pregnancy.

Blends well with livelier scented oils such as Lavender, Rosemary and Sandalwood.
