Did anyone do the Tap o' Noth race at Rhynie at the weekend?
Who did you get on?

=============

I had an email from Gillian Burtwell the other day (who is slowly but steadily recovering from injury in case you were wondering)

She said she's just had her second session with the physio at Inverurie Chartered Physiotherapy Clinic - www.physio-therapy.co.uk

The exercises she was given were from palates. They currently do classes with elite athletes and are now in the process of opening this up to amateur clubs like ourselves. They would do classes dedicated to runners, swimmers etc and if we had a enough numbers interested then GRR could have their own class. They are having an open day this Saturday and you can find them at Midmill Business Park (just down from Sandy Thain's Garage).

So anyone interested?

Running Joke of the Week

This man and woman were making love when the woman cried out "Oh my God! I hear my husband coming! You must get out of here fast! Grab your clothes and jump out the window!".
The man hurriedly jumped out the window and low and behold fell into some bushes. As luck would have it, it started to rain. He sat there, wondering what he was going to do when a bunch of runners happened to jog by.
The man quickly jumped up and joined the runners. As he was running along with the rest of the runners, one asked him "Do you always run in the nude?". The man answered, while gasping for air, "Oh yes, it feels so free having the air blow over your skin while you are running".
Then another runner asked "Do you always run carrying your clothes on your arm?". The man answered breathlessly, "Oh yes, that way I can get dressed at the end of the run and get in my car to go home".
Then another runner asked "Do you always wear a condom when you run?". "Well" he answered, "only when it's raining".

Aviemore
Accomodation
Steve asked if we could get an idea of who is all going to the Aviemore half in October, so that we can start organising accomodation.
Can anyone going drop me an email (bruce@axoninstruments.com), indicating if you need accomodation with the GRR group, and if your preference is Sat night only / Sat+Sun night / Sun night only.
We will need to get our skates on for booking accomodation if we are all going as a group...
