Just a wee reminder that the London Marathon entry forms are now out for the 2007 event; this year's closing date is October 20th.
Entry forms are in the local running shops, or ask your clubmates - anyone who has ran this race before automatically gets sent a magazine with the entry form.

There will also be a club place up for grabs; this has traditionally been one of the highlights of the GRR Xmas night out, where the name of our FLM club representative will be drawn out of the hat.
**Correction from Last week**: please note that only fully paid up club members with a ballot rejection slip will be eligible for the club draw.

Congratulations to Assynt Macleod who took part in yesterday's Berlin Marathon.
Assynt finished in a time of 3:22:14.

Meet at 6.30 pm at Inverurie swimming pool car park.

Saturday 30th
Marking out Bennachie Hill Race Route from Back o' Bennachie Car Park
Meet at 9.00am for friendly bit of banter while we mark out various sections of the race route with canes & tape.


Sunday 1st
In an ideal world, there'd be only 1 place to be today - the Bennachie Hill Race.
The race starts at 2.00pm, but please come along early & help out with organising the race

theres the Baxters Loch Ness marathon & 10k; race starts at 11.00.

or

theres the Fyvie castle & lake 5k; race starts from Fyvie castle at 1100.

Bennachie
Hill Race

Its BHR week, and GRR needs your help.

Saturday:
We need help in morning to mark out the course - meet at 9.00am at Back o' Bennachie.

Sunday:
We need help with putting up tents, marshalling cars to the car park and various other tasks involved in organising the hill race; meet from 10:00am onwards at Back o' Bennachie.

We need Marshalls for the race itself.

We need GRRers to run in the race itself & do us proud (race starts at 2.00pm)

We need some homebakes/tesco finest for the tea tent after the race.


Finally, we need our run of good luck with the weather in recent years to continue!
