Free VO2 Max Test

Thanks to Reuben sent in this:-
Aberdeen University sports scientists are currently investigating whether athletes who are airflow limited are more suseptible to fatigue. They are looking to recruit male runners between 18-35 AND 50-65 who train 3x + per week and compete. The participants will complete a VO2max test in the lab and will receive a report at the end. If they meet our requirements they will be asked back for a 2nd visit. For more details about the specifics of the trial and to see if they qualify please call Claire Bolger on 01224 559018.

What's Up This Week
Tuesday Evening...
Club Run round Inverurie.
Usual Meeting time of 6.30pm at the foyer in the Garioch Sports Centre.
There's a choice of distances including 5m/6m/7m & 8.6m & even the odd hill for added fun.
GRR also has an arrangement with the sports centre for free use of their changing & shower facilities (just say you are with GRR at reception).
Click here for a map of where to meet (use the zoom to find your bearings).

Thursday Evening...
Club Run round Inverurie.
Usual Meeting time of 6.30pm at the foyer in the Garioch Sports Centre.
Despite the less than ideal running surface, this isnt as bad as it sounds; its fully lit throughout, and at this time of year a clear crisp autumnal evening can be quite refreshing.
