Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Dunnecht Dash 5k last weekend.
Results were as follows:
James Macgregor 17:56
Cameron Leel 19:08
Duncan Leel 19:36

Well done guys!

============================

Congratulations also to Steve Waites & Rosie Massie who took part in Saturday's Loch Leven Half Marathon. Steve reports that the headwinds on Saturday were the strongest he has ever run in and this coupled with the hills in the second half of the course certainly made it a toughie (well that's his excuse!) Steve 1:45:17, Rosie 2:13:25

Well Done!

============================

The GRR AGM was held last week, and we now have a new chairman. Pete Stephen has stepped down to make way for Assynt Macleod. Our thanks go to Pete for his efforts thoughout the last year, and we welcome Assynt to the helm.
The AGM minutes and chariman's report are both available on the GRR website's News page (you'll need to scroll down right to the bottom)
Assynt in the meantime has temporarily relocated to Houston for the summer for a spot of warm weather training, and will return in the Autumn sometime.

Fancy some speedwork?

Garmin Writing
Heard about the latest running craze yet?
With the benefit of GPS technology its now possible to go out & run around in a seemingly hap-hazzard fashion, twisting & turning in such a manner that when you get home & examine the uploaded route on your PC that words appear - some even with hidden meaning.....
Well I for one think this has to be worth a go, even if I dont have a garmin GPS.
I suspect that plodding round Inverurie in the dark nights of late 2007 is going to be a whole lot more fun again!
