GariochRR This Week

Oct 29, 2007Running despatches from the heart of the Garioch
Announcements
Congratulations to Steve Waites & Rosie Massie who took part in the Kurt Steiner Cross Country 5K, held in in the Bronx, USA.
They both finished in a time of 31:47 despite some unseasonally red hot temperatures.
Steve says that it was a pretty good course with most of it on pretty undulating woodland paths.

Well done!
======================================

Congratulations also to everyone who took part in the Cairngorm Charmer the other week. The race was a 4m run, 4m mountain bike followed by a 4m run (I bet that last run section was tough after the bike ride...)

Team Garioch Quines (aka Hazel Riddel & Gillian Burtwell) finished in 1:39:41 and 2:08:02 respectively, giving a combined team time of 3:47:43.
Team Donaldson (aka Sheryl and Graham Donaldson) finished in 2:14:47 and 1:21:42, giving a combined time of 3:36:29.

Well Done!

GariochRR Club Merchandise

With Xmas looming once again, we thought we would help out all those running widows out there who might be struggling to think up what to get their running-mad beloved for Xmas, by stocking up on a range of GariochRR club merchandise.
There's a huge range of items we could get printed, so in an attempt to gauge interest in what to get and how many, here's a quick survey to find out.
We will compile responses & make a shortlist of kit, bearing in mind that there is usually a minimum quantity for printed goods.
Its completely anonymous, and isnt going to commit you to buy.
