Announcements
Congratulations to Nicola Redgwell & David Blane who took part in last Friday's Proms series 3Km race at the Beach Boulevard, finishing in 13:38 and 10:45 respectively.

Well done!
======================================

Congratulations to Tasmin Morris, Chantel Clark and Steve Barrett who took part in last weekend's Methlick Duathlon, with finishing times of 1:24:51, 1:25:31 and 1:11:07 respectively.

Well done!
======================================

Congratulations also to our GRRers who took part in Sunday's New York Marathon in the USA.
John Parr finished in a cracking time of 3:17:58, while Phil Owens finished in an impressive 3:57:13.
Phil said that he was in target for his sub-3:30 Boston qualifying time up to 20miles, with a 30km split time of 2:33:32, but then developed a groin strain that slowed him down big time.
He also said that 'the crowd support was one of the best memories ever - truly amazing.'

Well Done guys - 'good job!' (as they say in the US of A)

GariochRR Club Merchandise

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to complete our club kit survey; if you havent had a chance yet, heres a wee reminder....

With Xmas looming once again, we thought we would help out all those running widows out there who might be struggling to think up what to get their running-mad beloved for Xmas, by stocking up on a range of GariochRR club merchandise.
There's a huge range of items we could get printed, so in an attempt to gauge interest in what to get and how many, here's a quick survey to find out.
We will compile responses & make a shortlist of kit, bearing in mind that there is usually a minimum quantity for printed goods.
Its completely anonymous, and isnt going to commit you to buy.
Click Here to take survey

The survey will close late on Sunday night (11/11) in time to report the findings next week.
What's Up This Week
Tuesday Evening...

Club Run round Inverurie.
Usual Meeting time of 6.30pm at the foyer in the Garioch Sports Centre.
There's a choice of distances including 5m/6m/7m & 8.6m & even the odd hill for added fun.
GRR also has an arrangement with the sports centre for free use of their changing & shower facilities (just say you are with GRR at reception).
Click here showing the meeting point (use the zoom to find your bearings).

Thursday Evening...

Club Run round Inverurie.
Usual Meeting time of 6.30pm at the foyer in the Garioch Sports Centre.
Despite the less than ideal running surface, this isnt as bad as it sounds; its fully lit throughout, and at this time of year a clear crisp autumnal evening can be quite refreshing.
Click here showing the meeting point (use the zoom to find your bearings).

Saturday 10th

Club run from Esson's car park, Bennachie. Meet at later time of 8.30am for an off-road run on our favourite hill.

Have a great week

Run Long and Taper.
The GariochRR team.
