GariochRR This Week

Announcements
Congratulations to GRR's Craig Kelly who obliterated his marathon PB by 40 minutes at Elgin at the the weekend, finishing in a time of 3:29:54.

Well done!
====================================

Last weekend's Adventure Show on the BBC featured some great coverage of this year's Highland Cross. A couple of well kent faces made an appearance, including Donna Gray, Jim Cooper (aka Cooperman) and Rob Trahan (the Canadian with the strange scottish accent). Graeme Thomson might also have made an appearance, but was travelling too quick (as usual) for the naked eye to keep up.

====================================

Watch out for an imminent announcement from Nicola Redgwell on a GRR social event in the not too distant future.....

====================================

There's a GRR comittee meeting coming up next week (15/9, 1900hrs at Steve's house). Its primarily about arrangements for how we are going to cope with organising this year's Bennachie Hill race without Steve (offshore again), but if there's any suggestions/points you would like to raise then drop Steve Waites an e-mail (subsea@virgin.net) and we'll see what can be done.

====================================

Just a quick reminder that the entry forms for this year's Bennachie Hill race (& junior hill race) are now available from the web site or here.

====================================

GRR Club Subs are now Overdue!

Just a wee reminder for anyone who hasn't paid their subs yet - they are still at the bargain price of £12.
See Bruce or Steve.
