He served in the Army to the very end.

Paroled at Greensboro, NC, 1 May 1865.

Was married Mary Clark with whom he had at lease one daughter.

Filed for a pension, number #5772, on the 28 October1903, which was accepted.

He died on 28 March 1918 and was buried in the Bonham Cemetery in DeKalb County, TN.
