He was born 15 March 1841.
Enlisting in the Regiment on the 15 May 1861.
Elected as 1st Sergeant on the 6 June 1861 and the promoted
to 1st Lieutenant on the 8 May 1862.
Wounded at the battle of Murfreesboro on 31 December 1862.
Resigned his commission on the 25 April 1863, while at
McMinnville as he was disabled due to gunshot wound to left arm.
He married Belle Winton on 7 October 1863.
He died 11 March 1936 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, McMinnville, TN.
