Glan-y-Mor was a hall of residence of the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology (UWIST) from 1970 to 1979? situated on the Knapp, Barry, South Glamorgan.

Every five years (roughly) a reunion is held for any ex-residents, who care to attend, at the Mount Sorrell Hotel, in Barry. This was introduced in 1993 by Rosy and Jan who did all the hard work of contacting ex-residents and bullying people to turn up. The event was a great success and was repeated in 1998.
