James, b. Langholm. Moved to Hawick. Manufaturer and seller of Lemonade. Cairncross Aerated Waters.

a. David, b. 5.3.1888 Langholm. Was a gardener. Moved to Carlisle, worked for the Railways. d. Carlisle May 1954.

1. Alan David, b. 5.8.1930 Carlisle.

b. John went to New Zealand. Died, no issue.

c. Thomas.

1. John, brought up brother's son Irving. Died c. 1968.

2. Guidion Jamieson, No. 1105670 RAFVR. Killed in action, 7.7.1943. See the CWGC record of commemoration for Gideon.
