In November 2018, I discovered that this tree and F-T-51 contain details that are the same. So, I have now combined both these trees into one tree. John Macrae Tod Cairncross. Lived in Glasgow, Scotland. Held the M.B.E.
James Cairncross, photo, born 30 Aug 1890 probably Dundee, died 8 Mar 1972. Married Florence Anton in Broughty Ferry, (one of my correspondents Linda Margaret Cairncross says they were married in Kingston, On.) She was born 18 Oct 1897 Ottawa, died 1 Oct 1979 Ottawa. Scotland. Moved to Canada where he lived in Ottawa, on Gloucester Street. He served in the Princess Louisa Dragoon Guards. He worked as a printer at the mint in Ottawa until his retirement.
