    Learn Bosnian  grammar : Genders


     The genders used in Bosnian language are the following:

    Feminine {usually ending with an "a"}
    Masculine {usually ending with a consonant}
    Neuter {usually ending with an "o"}

    Please note that there are exceptions to these rules but they will not be discussed here.

    Examples:
    sat-clock (masculine)
    olovka-pencil (feminine)
    staklo- glass (neuter)
