Booking the band

The Invicta Concert Band will add a vital dimension to the occasion you're organizing. We've helped to raise funds with concerts in village halls and churches and at fetes. We've played at sporting events, at association rallies, and at church carol services. We've entertained at pensioners' clubs, and at dinners of professional institutions and at army mess nights. The band does make a charge for its services. Membership subscriptions alone cannot meet the full expenses of running the band. These expenses include the hire of a rehearsal hall each week, insurance, including public liability insurance to the tune of £5m, instrument hire and repair and the purchase of new music (at least £50 per work, comprising a conductor's score and an individual part for each instrument). In addition the organiser should budget for royalty payments for the music programmed for the event, and, in the case of distance (outside East Kent), the cost of coach hire. All such additional costs will be itemised in the quotation. We are proud to have played for the following organisations and contributed to the success of their events:
