This map shows the area from Souda Bay in the East, through Hania, Platanias and along the coast road to Maleme, Tavronitis and on to Kisamos.  The area around Galatas and Perivolia can be seen below Hania, and on the south coast is Chora Sfakion, the small harbour from which the troops were evacuated.
