Adding to the options, the E550 Zoom also accepts optional wide and telephoto converter lenses, expanding the camera's capability.

High quality movie capture is possible (640 x 480) at 30 frames per second (fps) with sound, while RAW file format enables unprocessed file saving. PictBridge compatibility also allows printing at home without the need for a PC or Mac.
