Welcome to Knaresborough & District Gun Club

Established in 1960 and CPSA Affiliated, Knaresborough & District Gun Club has an informal atmosphere so if you are looking for a great place to develop your interest in clay pigeon shooting, our shooting ground at Hazel Bank is an ideal venue.

New members and beginners are welcome. Whatever you’re looking for, please feel free to browse our website, and contact us for more information.

The Club meets once a month (on the second Sunday in the month with the exception of November)

Visit Hazel Bank as a novice or a regular shooter and experience the thrill of breaking clay targets.

We have all the facilities you will ever need from trap disciplines to sporting.

Test your skills with a range of targets to suit shooters of all abilities.

All fully automated traps

At Knaresborough & district gun club shooting ground, we cater for the following disciplines…

DTL (Down the Line), ABT (Automatic Ball Trap), Sport-trap, Sporting

Please note ear and eye protection must be worn by all visitors and members whilst out on the shooting ground.

Cartridges must be of normal loading and not exceed 28 grams of shot. The shot shall be no larger than english size 71/2 (2.4mm)

Please ensure that your shotgun certificate number is registered at the ground together with your insurance details.

Please help keep the gorund tidy by placing your cartridges in the bins provided.

Annual Membership rates Adult £25.00 Junior £10.00

Administration Fee for new membership application is £10
