BAA Annual Exhibition Meeting -2001

July 7 - a return to the favoured London Guildhall University opposite
the Tower of London for a good BAA exhibition and chance to meet old friends
with over 160 members in attendance. The standard of observational
drawings, photos and CCD images on the many Sections was high. Three
near-London astro societies were represented and six trade stands sold
their wares. The formal meeting, held in the university's nearby
lecture theatre, included the annual BAA Awards presented by Dr Nick Hewitt
- President. The main content of the meeting was reports, images and videos
from attendees to last month's African total eclipse.
