Colina
Mar Apartments cling to the top of the
valley walls at 600 ft but with lifts and horizontal walkways it presented
no difficulty even to our foursome's accumulated 295 years! The restaurant,
pools, sun-terraces and bars at a lower level overlook a green oasis.
Sun drenches the pool terraces from sunup until shadowed by the Apartments
by 4.30pm. The apartments [lounge + kitchenette, twin bedroom, bathroom]
are bright, spacious with private sun terrace facing east. The staff

Rep Rob [left] were helpful throughout. Boisterous evening entertainment
took place in the main bar. The Europa Centre, some 100 yards from the
Colina Mar entrance, provides alternative eating and shops.
Thereafter its all downhill via zigzag roads to the
Puerto
Rico resort and beach below - best via
hire-car, low-cost bus or taxi.
Recommended beaches-
Amadores [immediately below Colina Mar], Puerto Mogan [west] and Playa
del Ingles [east] by car/bus - all clean amber sand plus good eating adjacent.
