2002 Jan 28/29/30 - further selection of lo-res spectra [dispersion 30.5A/pixel] of bright stars and some faint variables include VY Tau [at ~mag 12.5; min m15] at a good altitude and RZ Pyx [eclipsing binary -virtually featureless B7V spectrum at lo-res] at -27o Dec just 7o above local southern horizon! Field stars to mag 13 just recorded in 3m exposure.
