2006 July 14 PM:
Following our Ewell AS meeting, a marvellous display this evening from Worcester Park along whole NNW to NE horizon. It began early at 1015BST high in north at 35 degrees altitude and decending over 45 minutes.
2006 July 12 PM: Weak display from Mottistone Downs - IOW during a public Nation Trust "See the stars" meeting that included glow-worm - for me a first! The public were wholly unimpressed by NLC!
2006 July 8 AM:
Good display this morning along
whole NNW to NE horizon and first since June 23 despite regular even +
morn vigils.
2006 June 23 AM: even
brighter display this morning with different structure than yesterday morn
but confined to N - NNE horizon.
2006 June 22 AM :
fine display all along the northern horizon over London from NNW - NE.

2006 June 21 PM:
1st observation of year from Observatory
Deck during the Users Group meeting at Nonsuch HS for Girls - Cheam - Surrey
with about eight other members. First spotted by our host David Fishwick
- maths master at the school....but no camera to hand.
2005 Aug 8 - continued watch of
northern horizon for both morning and evening NLC draws a blank until this
morning with fine NLC display - fifth of season..
2005 July 30- after a 5 week break with no positive sightings a good NLC before dawn in NE. After the quick photo-shoot I returned to bed and watched from the pillow the NLC move very slowly NW at 90o to the normal and much lower tropospheric cloud.
2005 June 22/23- good NLC due north in perfect skies throughout the whole night and even better before dawn [top pics] !
2005 June 19- respectable display this evening follow the setting of Venus and Mercury in the NW sky. More pics to follow...
2005 June 14/15 - fine NLC on the NNW horizon recorded over 30m until it faded. Capella left of centre. Top image as captured - no enhancement. File name = date/time.
