This series covers the rare Transit of Venus across the face of the Sun this morning 2004 June 8 from Worcester Park Observatory [Maurice Gavin] and Ewell Court Observatory [Ron Johnson] - Surrey - UK which are about a mile apart.  Ron's images here.

Various cameras used including a 270mm lens [135mm x 2 Barlow] + HX5 CCD piggybacked on LX200 [paired images], Minolta DiMAGE 7 digicam at full zoom [400mm efl] from a fixed tripod [not shown] and Ron's Vixen 10cm refractor and Nikon digicam - all with full aperture filters.
