Minutes agreed for last meeting
1) Treasurers report - Len has been on holiday, will give full
report at next meeting.
2) Presentation Evening - Dave to pick advance up at Failsworth
shoot.
3) BFTA News - copies of minutes to all clubs.
4) Agreed that NWFTA will follow BFTA grading, and grade after 1 shoot.
5) Question as to whether % for 'O' grade should be raised to 75%
minimum. - 7 votes for keeping %'s as they are, 5 votes for changing.
Terry will take result back to BFTA at AGM in Feb '95.
6) Terry to put point about medals for 2nd place in BFTA Inter-Regional
shoot.
7) Feedback from: a) Home International - Carl gave feedback - good
shoot, packed lunches, t-shirts etc. b) Eagley shoot - much improved now
people sit on road to shoot.
8) Club round up:
- Blackpool - No good news on ground.
- CMB - New secretary, Jack McCarthy introduced.
- Sandhall - Couple of new members + further couple who originally
attended 18 months ago.
- Oldham - possible new ground, Worsley Grange, use for NWFTA shoots as
well as club shoots, maybe. Putting shoot on 13/11/94. Clubhouse,
Toilets etc. Mill still being pushed, quite a lot to sort out yet.
- Failsworth - Work finished on ground, next shoot will use compund
hopefully.
- Winchester - couple of new members
- TVG - Dave welcomed Blackpool members in their lack of ground
problems. Ian Jones has invited Dave up to Rivington Riflemen to talk to
them rejoining the NWFTA, putting past problems behind them.
- Eagley - Nothing to report.
9) Failsworth Open - 30th July '95 - Terry to contact Barry with
date.
10) Numbers for Presentation Evening to Nosh for next meeting.
11) Proposal by Graham and Carl to put fees up for summer season to £3.00
per shooter with £1-00 going to club, £2-00 to NWFTA. Lively
discussion took place. Clubs to come back with views for next meeting.
12) Time and date of next meeting 6th Dec '94.
