Ordinary Meeting
1) Feedback from Eagley shoot - excellent facilities, cooking
much appreciated - good course, thanks to the club.
2) NWFTA Showdown Finals - thanks from Dave F. to the bodies
that helped him set the course up, and also on the day. Owing to lack of
bodies at end, presentation of trophies will be held at next league shoot.
3) Home Internationals - Nosh gave rundown. Also proposed that 4
members representing England should have expenses for petrol and hat and
'open' payments. Total = £80. Tony confirmed above proposal. Seconded
by Ken unanimously agreed.
4) BFTA Showdown/Masters - good shoots, but shoot presentation
(trophies) was chronic!
5) Terry presented winter programme of 8 shoots. He suggested that clubs
may like to shoot against each other, concentrate on club shoots etc.
Handouts will be issued on sunday at Tawd Vale.
6) Sideshoots - clubs should be encouraged to put sideshoots on,
either at 'home' shoot, or when shooting 'away'. Terry made the point that
sideshoots should be shootable in order to make money! Decided that host
club should be responsible for ensuring at least one side-shoot takes
place, run by a visiting club. To be decided at meeting before each shoot,
and also to be included as an agenda item.
7) Dual Membership - shooters are allowed to belong to more than
one club, but they must only shoot for one club in any one season, and
nominate that club at the season's start. Proposed by Terry, Seconded by
Len. All in favour, bar one.
8) Terry and Nosh will not be at next meeting. Nosh will do agenda.
9) Time and date of next meeting 3/10/95 8pm
