Apologies from Richard Lees - Stockport and Len Rosser - Blackpool
1) Matter of fees raised again. Failsworth felt fees had been set at
previous meeting and shouldn't be altered again. Fees were voted on at
second meeting. (Oldham also felt the same as Failsworth). This point put
to 'any other business'
2) BFTA AGM points discussed - handouts issued out.
3) NEC update from Terry - team of bodies from NWFTA manning Target
Sports range. Terry has done BFTA handouts - printed by Mike Slater to
hand out on day.
4) NWFTA fund hand-outs issued showing what our funds are used for.
5) Proposed that expenses of £10.00 per team member paid and £30
entry fee. Unanimously carried (BFTA Regional Championships)
6) Anglo/American Update - bookings almost full.
7) War of the Roses - to be held at failsworth on 25/6/95. Criteria
still to be finalised with NEFTA.
8) Terry explained the mechanics of the Norweigan postal League. Clubs
can enter on an individual basis and must take responsibility for sending
their own score cards in. Handouts issued.
9) Proposed list of summer series shoots read out and confirmed. Mike
raised point that summer series seems to be getting shorter, but calendar
is very full, both with national and NW national events. Nosh will do
handout of all shoots.
10) Good shoot at Sandhall and Oldham. (car parking tight at Oldham)
People to watch speed on track from cottage. Club has to be out of ground
by mid afternoon.
11) Tony, on behalf of Oldham, put forward proposal that at monthly
league shoots, club pays for trophies, half of take to club, half to NWFTA
(of profits), and split money at end of season between clubs hosting
shoots. (West Pennine League was quoted).
12) Nigel explained, with Dave Benyon's help, that West Pennine was a
totally different set-up.
13) Fees discussed again! Nigel emphasised that £2-50 fee and
reduced fee was voted on and accepted unanimously at Feb meeting.
14) Nigel read out letter from Dave Fairhurst concerning fees and
benefits to the NWFTA.
15) Tony read proposal out again as in 11). First part not seconded
(Split to clubs) Second part not seconded (splitting at end of season).
16) Time and date of next meeting 4/4/95
