1) Carried over from last meeting - heated discussion on teams within
North West. Proposed - Limit of 2 teams (interchangeable) per club, 5
members per team. Teams to be named BEFORE start of shoot. To start on
first shoot of 1996 summer series. List of names to be handed to stats.
Seconded by Len Rosser, 6 clubs in favour, CMB abstained, Carried.
2) Pre-shoot briefings - point made by Richard on behalf of
several shooters that at Eagley shoot most people arrived after briefing.
Stan felt that briefings are a step in the right direction, it elevates
the shoot position from a gaggle of disjointed bodies. Nosh agreed,
stating it signifies the start of a shoot and is also an opportunity to
remind people of various points, especially in the case of new shooters.
Terry then gave brief talk on why briefings were introduced. As well as
shoot procedures, things such as noticeboards, quiz evenings etc. should
be mentioned.
3) Nosh gave feedback on World Championships, if people want copies of
the stats, tell Nosh. Len and Richard expressed an interest.
4) Quiz/Presentaton Night - numbers required by CMB shoot. Give
numbers to Nosh. Suggestion to invite Bartrops and McEvoys. Club reminded
of raffle prizes.
5) BFTA Grand Prix offered out to clubs. All interested parties to bid
by the next meeting.
6) Eagley shoot - good feedback - lot of happy shooters with
high scores. Macclesfield - good shoot and layout - breeze made it tricky.
Excellent attendance - 67!
7) CMB shoot 3 - Blackpool will put a sideshoot on, food will be
available.
8) Terry will do some general info on NWFTA flyers for shops.
9) Time and Date of next meeting 5/12/95 8pm
