One day in the seventies whilst at a show waiting to go into my class I thought I would take a look around the other breeds, I came upon this class of Chinese Cresteds being judged, I'm sure my mouth fell open! One day, I dreamed, I will own one of those beautiful little dogs. It took me six months of searching but finally I found her a lovely little true hairless bitch, from the famous Moonswift kennel called Moonswift Hot Potato, we called her "Taito" for short, she was two years old, and a liver Mahogany.
She became my constant companion. After having her only six weeks, I took her to her first championship show, and my first time showing a Crested much to my and the breeders amazement she took the bitch Challenge Certificate!!!! She went on to become my foundation bitch, and was a wonderful producer, everything great that I have produced goes back to her.
