Bird name translator This site is very useful if you need to translate a bird name to or from another language, including Latin and most European languages. Although it is primarily a database of bird names, there are also photographs of some of the species submitted by photographers from around the world.

Photo.Net Photo.Net is a large site with many forums including discussions and articles on many aspects of photography. Needless to say, I most often visit the nature photography forum (Under "Community").
