This is my mom and dad, that is Freda and Joseph Broughton, of 133 Devon St, taken in 1964.

Here's a photo of me and my sisters,Freda and Margaret, taken about 1945.We lived at 133 Devon St. It happens to be the last house before the church. All three of us went to St Teresa's.

This is Mary Alice Broughton (my grandma)
She used to have a small sweet shop in their front room at 262 Boundary Road two doors from the corner of Silkstone St. The opposite corner to the mission.

   
This is Joseph Broughton senior ( my granddad ).He used to groom all the shire horses at the Co-op stables in Eccleston street.
   
This is my gran on my mother's side with her son Jimmy from her second marriage.The picture is about 1930. Her name was Mary Alice Traynor and they lived at 60 Silkstone St. Before she married Thomas Traynor her name was MaryAlice Cassidy and she had three daughters,Margaret, Emma, and Mary Freda. Freda was my mother and married Joe Broughton from Boundary Road and then moved to Devon St. Newtown.
