This is most easily played using fingers -- the 2nd finger (m) on the E-string and the 1st finger (i) on the B-string. But it is also good practice for the pick. Try to make it sound as clear and even as when played with fingers.
Alternate down and up strokes, starting with a down. (So the B-string is always played with an up). Try not to move the picking hand too much. This isn't supposed to be strummed!
