The Pathfinder Long Distance Walk This is a serious Challenge!   !46 miles on foot in under 24 hours! The Route This may be cambridgshire, but think for one minute exactly how far 46 miles is.  Yes, a very long way!  The aim of participating in the walk is twofold:

• To attempt a challenge that most people would neve dream of attemting let alone as a teenager and

 

• To raise money for a worthy cause.  This year the charity is St.Dunstans

 

• Cadets will travel to RAF Brampton on the Friday after school.  Following an early reveille (0230!) they will travel to the start of the Pathfinder Long Distance walk at RAF Wyton for an approximate start of 0330.

 

• It is envisaged that the whole walk will take 16-18hours

 

• Cadets may not make it all the way round.  Adult supervision - Walkers and a dedicated support team - will be on hand to make sure the cadets don't do more than they can handle - their welfare is our prime concern.
