You will also be heavily involved with the training of the newer recruits putting into practice the leadership skills and the training recived on the Methods of Instruction course.
On the Self Reliance exercises (which you will have completed a year earlier) you will asked act as supervisory cadets.
You
will be expected to set a good example to the younger cadets and to those
from other CCF and ATC units.
This
year is where you recieve adavanced training in order to complete the final
HQ Air Cadets examination (Part 3).
In this examination you must pass an Air Navigation paper which is now compulsory.
If
you have not had the opportunity to obtain a gliding scholarship there
is still plenty of time.
You may also want to consider applying for the Air Cadet Navigation Couse at Royal Air Force College Cranwell or for the Flying Scholarship Scheme to get your "wings".
