The cottage, which is on the banks of the River Wensum, is around 200
years old, bought as derelict back in the 1970's, with no running water (apart
from the river) and no mod cons. One used a bucket! Today the cottage is lovely
and comfortable. A visit anytime of the year is appealing. In fact many
visitors prefer the winter months with the wood-burner roaring away. Started as
a holiday cottage in 1982 by the present owner. Lots of visitors return again
and again.
