I had been having problems playing some movie files and my mate Steiny showed me an excellent program called mplayer that would work with almost anything. The only problem was a windows GUI (it was originally done for Linux) was difficult to find and I was tired to typing in command lines to run the thing. Since I am in the middle of learning Delphi I set myself a little project to write a very basic interface myself.
