Practice Hours

The surgery is open for patients by appointment only during the following hours;

Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. until 1.00 p.m and 2.30 p.m. until 5.00 p.m.

Wednesday evening (Mr Chamberlain) 5.00 pm until 7.00 p.m.

Emergencies out of Hours

North Yorkshire and York Primary Care Trust currently provides an emergency out of hours service.

Monday to Thursday 6.30pm until 8am the following morning and Friday evening from 6.30pm through until 8am Monday morning. Patients with an urgent query should telephone a low-cost local number for the NHS Direct dental help line 0845 600 3249. The details of the call will be triaged and appropriate advice given.

If necessary, during Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays, patients may be offered treatment from one of the rota dentists at the most locally convenient surgery.

Please note that arrangements for emergency advice may change shortly. However, if in doubt as to who to contact outside of surgery opening hours, please ring the practice reception number on 01609 772549 where an updated recorded advice message will inform patients accordingly.
